Session 2 11

Wenser: "I suppose you have a lot of questions you want to ask."
[OOC] Ingenue: Oh Wenser, you have no idea.
Zinda Tegram: "Yeah, I do."
Zinda Tegram clicks the torch to her belt. For now.
Wenser: "Ask, but do make it quick."
Wenser: "We'll 'ave company incoming from that little stunt."
Wenser: "An' I don't mean security."
[OOC] Abraham: Have I found my way back to the rest of the game yet?
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: Yeah.
[OOC] WC GM: Everyone's in the suite.
Spyboy: "How do we know you're really you and not a Nephilim infiltrator like the last one?"
Zinda Tegram: "Since the last one probably was."
[OOC] Spyboy: like the last Admiral Wenser we met
Wenser: "That wasn't an infiltrator, lad. Wasn't…quite *me*, but he wanted those Nephilim gone just like you did."
Abraham has made a career out of pretending he knows what's going on. This is old territory for him.
Zinda Tegram: "Where did you get the neutrino communicator. What do you know about Crest. Why did your body doubles have neutrino comms. Why did they slag like Nephilim when I saved their ship."
Abraham: "And is the neutrino com in your head?"
Zinda Tegram: "That's a big one."
Zinda Tegram: "Hold up."
Zinda Tegram cracks the door, sticks a sensor orb outside, and closes it.
Zinda Tegram: "OK."
Wenser: "I made it, they're corrupt to the core and arguably almost as bad as those Nephilim, because I gave them comms, I wanted to avoid their capture…" He looks from Zinda to Abraham. "…and no, it's in me chest."
The sensor orb quickly picks up on footsteps approaching. One person's, but you have company in a few minutes.
Abraham digests that. "I honestly don't know if that's better or worse…"
Zinda Tegram: "Where did you get the information to make one? What was with your clone in Mu Cephei? What's your relationship to the nephilim?"
Zinda Tegram: "Can I kill our expected guest?"
Wenser: "…that would be a very bad idea. I dunno if it's Kali or Dakka, but it's one of 'em. Prob'ly Kali."
Zinda Tegram: "I see. And we don't want them dead?"
Spyboy: "That'd be one of the other two admirals, Zinda."
Zinda Tegram: "I know."
Zinda Tegram: "Nevermind, the other questions."
Spyboy: "So….maybe? But if we get it wrong we're strengthening the one working for Crest."
Wenser: "Spyboy, it does me good to see you're as observant as ever."
[OOC] Abraham: Easy way to figure out which one works for crest. Which admiral has the whiter teeth?
Zinda Tegram taps her foot and bobs her head in time with the footsteps.
Spyboy: "And I see you're as good at avoiding questions as ever. Where'd you learn to make a neutrino comm? The last I heard was they were impossible for human tech, and the Lago ones are incompatible with the Nephilim ones, so you didn't take one of theirs."
Spyboy: "Or rather, you must have taken a Lago one, because otherwise we couldn't have been talking earlier."
Abraham: "Unless LAGOS gave you the protocals she uses…"
Spyboy: "Also you can drop the hologram. We know you're not here and if you want to talk to everyone we have a neutrino radio that you can't be tapped over."
Wenser: "…ahh, an' 'ere I was tryin' t' make you comfortable you were talkin' to me." He winces, then the hologram fades away, back to Private Ragana.
Just before there comes a knock at the door.
Ragana: "Then again, maybe it's good timing."
Zinda Tegram: "I'll get it."
Abraham turns to the door.
Zinda Tegram opens the door.
Zinda Tegram: "Can I help you?"
Zinda Tegram looks straight into Kali's eyes.
Kali: "Hi! Mind if I come in?"
Zinda Tegram: "No."
Zinda Tegram closes the door.
Kali interposes a foot in the doorway.
Kali: "I'm afraid I must insist."
[OOC] Spyboy: Well, Zinda did say she didn't mind.
[OOC] Spyboy: Time to get my lies straight!
[OOC] Abraham: I was going to say that.
Zinda Tegram interposes a foot ontop of Kali's foot.
Zinda Tegram: "I'm not sure you can."
Zinda Tegram does a dramatic eye lock.
Kali attempts to stare Zinda down. It does not work too well…
[OOC] WC GM: Not even going to roll it. Autofail on Kali's part.
Zinda Tegram rolled up 4dF: + + 0 0 (Base: 5 Total: 7) (Intimidation, Hundred Eyed Demon)
Zinda Tegram just keeps her eyes locked with Kali, and her foot on Kali's.
WC GM rolled up 4dF: 0 0 - + (Base: 6 Total: 6) (Resolve, Iron Will)
[OOC] Abraham: … why are you rolling and invoking chessa AND spending a fate point on a autowin?
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: 'Cause they failed the attack, not the defense.
[OOC] Abraham: ah.
Kali: "…fine. Let go of my foot?"
Zinda Tegram releases Kali's foot.
Zinda Tegram: "Bye."
Zinda Tegram closes the door, and leans against it, watching the eye orb.
Kali: "I'll wait until you're done."
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: through the
Through the orb, Zinda can see Kali fold her arms and wait.
Ragana: "…oooh boy, not good."
Zinda Tegram clicks a clock on and starts waiting, leaning against the door.
Abraham: "And we are sure they're not both in Crest's employ?"
Ragana: "I don't…*think* your Oldziey friend there is on Crest's payroll, but you'd know better than I."
Spyboy pulls out a datapad and types a quick 'you don't know she's out there, we can take a few minutes, then you get affronted that Zinda blocked her and let her in'
Spyboy hands the pad to Abraham, and to Zinda once he's read it
Zinda Tegram glances, shrugs, and hands it back.
Abraham nods.
Spyboy eyes Ragana
Ragana looks at Abraham. "Well?"
Spyboy: "All we have time for, I think, is where you got the neutrino comm. Did you design it yourself?"
Abraham: "I was slightly offended when you said such a com was 'impossible' for human tech."
[OOC] Abraham: And Zinda got taken out by Kali. Make sense. She destroys worlds after all.
Ragana: "Good thing that door's soundproof. I built it, but I'm not the inventor, not by a long shot."
Spyboy: "Fine, impossible to fit in a device terribly smaller than the Roland."
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: I miss anything?
[OOC] WC GM: I'll PM what you might have missed.
Abraham: "… I'm working on it."
Abraham: "All right. I assume either LAGOS or another lago invented it then, and that's why it's compatible. Why is it in you chest?"
Ragana: "Mine wasn't from lago hands. I had to do the translation myself."
Spyboy blinks
Abraham: "That's… troubling. I'd like some details on that."
Ragana: "As to why it's in my chest - more secure there."
Zinda Tegram: "You got the plans from a Lago?"
Spyboy: "But if we can't do it…and they didn't do it…and those others…I see…"
Spyboy frowns at Ragana
Spyboy glances at Heggy and raises an eyebrow.
[OOC] Abraham: The Vulcans made it, didn't they?
Heggy shakes her head from side to side in thought and nods.
Ragana chuckles weakly. "Yeah. Messy things, these…ah, you'd call it 'civil war'?"
Zinda Tegram rolled up 4dF: - 0 0 + (Base: 4 Total: 4) (alertness. WTF is Kali up to?)
Spyboy: "I think that's about all the time we have, captain."
[OOC] Abraham: She's dressing herself in a pizza delivery outfit to try to con her way in.
Zinda Tegram: "Civil War? Well, time to talk to Kali then?"
Kali seems to be…listening?
Abraham: "Right. Let me just make my angry face."
Zinda Tegram: "Bitch bugged me. Hold on."
Abraham: "ZINDA?! WHAT THE HELL! SHE'S AN ADMIRAL, and technically still my superior officier!"
Zinda Tegram picks up the bug, clicks the torch on, and sizzles it.
Zinda Tegram then slams on the door with her fist.
On the sensor orb, Zinda sees that Kali stopped listening just in time.
Kali is just standing there, outside - smirking.
Abraham: "Christ. Fine, you're not a fan of the chain of command, there's still basic fucking courtecy you know."
Zinda Tegram opens the door, steps outside, and closes it.
Zinda Tegram: "Cute, sticking a bug on your shoe."
[OOC] Abraham: How white are her teeth?
sickeningly sweet* "Can I help you?"
[OOC] WC GM: Quite white.
Spyboy: "Room! Ten-hut!"
Zinda Tegram unclicks her torch. "Yeah, I think you can."
Zinda Tegram: "Come on in."
[OOC] Spyboy: Zinda, Hrrin, Ingenue can feel free to ignore =p
Abraham loudly mutters to himself, "Note to self, move Zinda's quarters to the one with the leaky pipes above the bed."
Kali: "Certainly."
[OOC] Ingenue: Planned on it.
Spyboy and Heggy straighten to attention
Zinda Tegram steps in behind Kali.
Zinda Tegram: "Hear anything interesting?"
Zinda Tegram: "Maybe something you'd like to tell Crest?"
Kali walks in. "I see your companion has the tact and courtesy I've come to expect of Oldziey. She is a fine representative of her system."
Zinda Tegram: "You going to answer the question?"
Abraham: "I'm starting to get that."
[OOC] Spyboy: Man, it's wierd to see that statement and not be a hyperlink to Blatant Lies on TVTropes
[OOC] Abraham: Was Ragana still out there?
Zinda Tegram rolled up 4dF: 0 - + 0 (Base: 1 Total: 1) (Brawl, taking that compel from a 'Instilled with a Knight's Pride'.)
[OOC] WC GM: No, she's inside with you.
[OOC] Abraham: Why, I really am starting to get that.
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: Behind her. I'm just gonna smack her for that.
Kali puts a hand to her chin, and smiles. "Let's see. If hypothetically I were the type to slip an emergency bug on my shoe, well, you know these emergency bugs have such terrible reception."
WC GM rolled up 4dF: 0 - 0 - (Base: 2 Total: 0) (Brawl)
Abraham: "I… do acutally…"
Kali tries to catch Zinda's fist in her hand without looking to show off. She slips up, and Zinda manages to strike her on the arm.
Zinda Tegram clicks the torch on.
Zinda Tegram: "I didn't invite you in so you could make fun of us."
Zinda Tegram: "What's your relationship to Crest?"
Kali: "'Us' implies more than one person, dear." She still isn't looking.
Abraham: "Zinda, unless you intend to kill her and I should tell you I would be honor bound to do something about that, stop. Now."
Zinda Tegram clicks the torch off.
Zinda Tegram: "Abraham might like the chain of authority around here, but you can tell I don't care that much."
Zinda Tegram: "So next time you feel inclined to mouth off about Oldziey? Watch it."
Kali: "Me? Crest? Hmm…I do believe they are a force for good in our sector, having management experience we desparately need for civilian assets, though they can go a little overboard at times."
Abraham does not blink at that. It's hard to complain about the 'a little overboard' comment when he works with Zinda.
Kali: "As for Oldziey?" *NOW* she turns, naked fury on her face as she tries (and again fails) to stare down Zinda. "DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES THEY HAVE TRIED TO AMBUSH MY CARRIER AND KILL MY CREW?!?!?"
Zinda Tegram: "And succeed."
Zinda Tegram: "You did try to invade us."
Kali: "I have every RIGHT to have you arrested and hauled off just for BEING from there. Out of deference to Abraham, I shan't - for now."
Zinda Tegram stands her ground, glaring right back.
Kali: "But don't. Push. It."
Kali folds her arms and looks at Abraham - no, it's now clear what she's doing: showing her back to Zinda at every opportunity.
Spyboy blinks slowly.
Zinda Tegram: "I received a pardon. Not that you had anything to do with it."
[OOC] Abraham: I notice that everyone is using shorter and shorter sentances when talking to Zinda…
Spyboy rolled up 4dF: + + 0 0 (Base: 4 Total: 6) (Charm to not show what he's thinking on his face.)
Kali: "I argued against it."
Spyboy coughs
Zinda Tegram: "Yeah?"
Kali: "So Abraham. I noticed the hack job you did on the camera."
Spyboy blinks
Abraham: "I resent the implication, sir."
Kali: "Did you learn it from Hrrin, there? I know Kilrathi infowar techniques when I see them."
Zinda Tegram glances at Ragana and nudges her head at the door when Kali's looking away.
Kali: "Oh, no, it was meant as a compliment."
Ragana nods, and scoots outside.
Abraham: "I know, but I wasn't the one who did the job."
Kali: "Oh, then Hrrin did it? Hmm. I was impressed."
Kali: "Aaanyway, now we can talk privately for a while. Umm, assuming you trust everyone here."
Abraham: "Probationally at least."
Kali: "I notice you were already 'debriefing' that private." She winks. "Trying to plant your own network already?"
Abraham: "It seemed to be the thing to do."
Zinda Tegram stands at the door, fuming.
Abraham: "Also Zinda was against it, so it has that charm."
Zinda Tegram smirks a tiny bit.
Kali: "Wonderful!" She claps once and smiles. "You'll make a worthy partner yet."
Kali: "So I assume you'll be making Mu Cephei your base? Or haven't you decided yet? I do encourage you to tour all the systems first."
Kali: "We need someone to show the flag, and, well…"
Kali: "I'm at one end, Dakka's at the other, and Wenser's never around when you want him."
Kali: "I swear, it's like he's in nine places at once sometimes."
Abraham: "I'm starting to notice that about Wenser."
Kali nods. "Oh! So you HAVE talked to him. Good."
Abraham: "As for my base, Mu Cephei is on the list but you're right that I should check all the possibilities first."
Zinda Tegram: "We had a few run-ins at Mu Cephei."
Spyboy: "He gave us our orders in Mu Cephei. Then he disappeared."
Abraham: "It's my first base, and if I choose a bad one, it stays on my record."
Kali sighs. "That's Wenser, alright. Anyway! So tell me why you're suspect about Crest."
Zinda Tegram looks at Abraham. The look says 'You gonna?'
[OOC] Abraham: "Well, when I was a kid I used their toothpaste and it didn't really whiten as much as it claimed it would. I contacted the manufacturer and I never got a reply. I've suspected them of everything ever since."
[OOC] Spyboy: Ironically it wasn't Wenser, but eh
Abraham: "It's largely that they are a powerful money group who can make a substantial profit in a disaster zone. It might encourage them to keep this sector a disaster area and milk it as long as they can."
Spyboy pulls up his datapad and does a quick scan for EMF sources in the room.
Abraham: "So it's really I'm suspicious of their motivations."
Kali's smile falls a bit. "Oh. I thought for sure you'd have discovered that long-range cannon they were disguising as a hotel in Mu Cephei."
Aside from the expected sources (particularly Ingenue), Spyboy easily sees Kali's body riddled with sources. It's hard to tell if she is a cyborg or if she merely practically painted herself with concealed devices.
Spyboy: "I'm afraid we can't discuss that, ma'am. It's currently under investigation and regulations prevent us about discussing matters under investigation."
Abraham: "I had actually, but I wanted proof before I mentioned it. I'm pretty sure any comment I make is actionable at my rank."
[OOC] Spyboy: Does anything look like a computer?
[OOC] Ingenue: * raises hand
[OOC] WC GM: Ingenue. Also many of Kali's devices.
[OOC] WC GM: Also the neutrino comm. Also any datapads people are carrying. And you're pretty sure there are computer terminals in the walls.
[OOC] Abraham: Also I can do math.
[OOC] Spyboy: I'm more wondering if there's anything on Kali that I can hack. Hypothetically.
[OOC] WC GM: Heck, you think you see tiny computers built into the sidearms.
[OOC] Spyboy: ….cuz that'd be wrong.
[OOC] WC GM: No apparent entry points.
[OOC] Spyboy: Curses, foiled again.
[OOC] Abraham: Ingenue, you must download a pasifist copy of yourself to Zinda's sidearm.
[OOC] WC GM: The few things that are exposed, don't look like they connect to anything.
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: Sidearm? You mean her torch?
[OOC] Abraham: … sure.
[OOC] Ingenue: This unit is programmed not to self-terminate. Thus, unit must avoid pissing off Zinda.
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: Heehee!
[OOC] Spyboy: Meh, Communications to snag as many frequencies and encryptions as I can? At least some of those have to be bugs, and I'd love to be able to listen to any bug available.
[OOC] Spyboy: I was gonna say that her sidearm won't do much good because she pulls out Torchy at every opportunity.
[OOC] Spyboy: Also because an energy cannon is an energy cannon but Torchy tells Zinda to cut things.
[OOC] WC GM: Difficulty 6. She took Confed state of the art and tinkered with it for at least a decade during her retirement.
[OOC] WC GM: 6 to get a few bugs, that is.
Spyboy rolled up 4dF: - - 0 + (Base: 5 Total: 4) (Kali's devices are now under MY control!)
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: Tag it.
[OOC] Spyboy: Doing so.
[OOC] Abraham: Invoke your neutrino aspect to get Ingenue to crunch some numbers for you?
Spyboy struggles to grab the extra-heavy encryption. But when it comes down to it, he has plenty of experience with the kind of devices Admirals use.
[OOC] Spyboy: Invoking The Admiral's Eyes Are On You
[OOC] Spyboy: For 6
Spyboy can get access to a few devices. They seem to use techniques similar to what Wenser taught him. The rest - looks like Kali takes defense in diversity.
Kali: "Of course, another reason I want you on patrol is to see if you can smoke out the Nephilim."
Zinda Tegram: "I'm surprised we agree."
Abraham: "Well yes, I assumed as much. We've already had some minor scirmishes with them."
Spyboy: "Please. Only a fool wants Nephilim here, Miss Tegram."
Kali: "Dakka and I have our hands full reassuring the people. Wenser tries to root them out, but…" She sighs. "We've kept it a secret, but there've been sightings ever since Chandley."
Abraham: "I'm not surprised. The Nephilim do not seem to be interested in making this a Secret Invasion."
Kali: "We're almost thinking Chandley was a distraction."
Zinda Tegram smiles a bit. "I can give you a lead on how they keep coming back, if Abraham OK's it."
Zinda Tegram: "But, I'll need something in return."
Kali: "Hmm?"
Zinda Tegram: "A few apologies, mostly. Depending on how they go, you might get a few in return."
Abraham give Zinda the nod.
Kali: "…for what? I will never apologize for stating the truth."
Spyboy: "You don't have to apologize for believing the truth. However in many cases stating it would be rude and should be apologized for."
Spyboy: "I…learned that lesson the hard way."
Zinda Tegram: "Let's leave it at the bug, and the Oldziey comment. And now that one."
Zinda Tegram glances at Spyboy. "I'll talk to -you- later."
Heggy pats her husband on the head.
Heggy: "But you did learn it eventually."
Kali: "Hmph. Fine. I apologize for sneaking a bug on you. And I apologize for calling Oldziey a system of barbaric, war-minded hicks."
Kali: "They're…not *all* thugs."
[OOC] Abraham: <Zinda> "No damnit! You're suppose to apologize for implying that we /weren't/ all mindless thugs!"
It is easy to tell that apologies do not come readily to Kali.
Zinda Tegram: "Good enough. For that, I've decided not to talk about that warhead in the barracks. We know the Nephilim can fire modified laser weapons on jump-points to turn them into wormholes. That's how they staged the Mu Cephei operation."
Zinda Tegram: "That Crest hotel laser cannon served as the catalyst. I also have footage of the repurposing, if you've got something worth it."
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: Warhead in the barracks being during the Oldziey campaign.
Zinda Tegram watches Kali carefully.
Kali: "…"
Kali rolls her eyes, shakes her head, then fixes her gaze on Spyboy. "Lieutenant, report!"
Zinda Tegram chuckles.
Kali: "What's she talking about?"
Zinda Tegram: "Spyboy doesn't have the data."
Kali ignores Zinda and keeps her gaze upon Spyboy.
Spyboy: "Ma'am, I was involved in another part of the raid on the hotel cannon. I'm afraid I don't know what she's talking about."
Zinda Tegram keeps smiling.
Abraham: "Sorry sir, but this is between you and Zinda, I'm afraid."
[OOC] Spyboy: Charm 4 to keep from blowing the fact that he piloted a heavily sensored ship down said repurposed laser cannon
Spyboy rolled up 4dF: + 0 - 0 (Base: 4 Total: 4)
Zinda Tegram: "Tell you what. I'm sorry for pulling the torch on you. We've had some security issues recently."
Kali: "Whatever." She looks at Abraham. "She'll tell you, and that's good enough."
[OOC] Spyboy: Cool, though I know exactly which Aspect to invoke there
[OOC] Abraham: Well, she won't /now!/ Thanks Kali. Thanks /oodles/.
Kali: "Apology accepted."
[OOC] WC GM: Kali: *broad smile* *honeyed voice* "You're wel-cooome!"
Zinda Tegram: "Oh, the next time you try to jump into Oldziey? Move off the jump point faster. You could of gotten away from that bomber group."
Zinda Tegram: "You were the gold-trimmed one, right?"
Kali tenses, but says nothing.
Zinda Tegram: "Cya around."
Zinda Tegram finally pushes herself off the wall and goes to get a milkshake.
[OOC] Abraham: Note to self, moved Kali's quarters to the one with the leaky pipes above the bed. Hey, I already moved Zinda there. They can be bunkmates!
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: Heehee!
[OOC] Spyboy: =D
Kali: "So ANYWAY," she says through gritted teeth, "is your concern with Crest just their money?"
[OOC] Spyboy: Bear in mind, human tissues explode when exposed to intense heat. To wit - if you torch your bunkmade, Zinda, you'll have to clean the blood off the wall.
Spyboy: "And the cannon, ma'am."
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: Damn!
unclenches once Zinda leaves* "Right, the cannon."
Abraham: "Those were what brought Crest to my attention, yes. As I said we are still investigating them."
Ragana salutes Zinda when she leaves, and offers up her sensor ball.
[OOC] Abraham: Is Kali really telling Zinda to take her ball and go home? Because she will.
Zinda Tegram: "Thanks."
[OOC] WC GM: No…? Ragana is offering up the sensor ball that Zinda left outside.
Zinda Tegram sticks the ball in her pocket and heads off to join Geoffrey for a drink.
At the end of the hall, Zinda pauses. "Ragana? You busy?"
[OOC] WC GM: And *now* Ingenue needs a Stealth check.
[OOC] Abraham: Zinda finds Geoffrey unconscious on the floor with a brown stain on his lips. When she rouses him to conciousness, all she can get out of him is 'Triple Thick Shakes'
Ragana: "Guarding Abraham's quarters, ma'am."
Ingenue rolled up 4dF: - 0 0 - (Base: 3 Total: 1) (Stealth check)
Zinda Tegram: "Of course. Cya."
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: Tags! Tags!
WC GM rolled up 4dF: 0 0 0 - (Base: 4 Total: 3) (Alertness)
[OOC] Ingenue: …this is why I prefer invoke for effect. Tagging SSM. for +2
[OOC] Abraham: Your SuperSonic Massdriver makes you stealthier. Okay.
Kali: "…unusual statue you have there, by the way."
[OOC] Ingenue: You're encouraged to do whatever the person with the massdriver says. Even if its 'ignore me'.
[OOC] WC GM: I think it's "Stainless Steel Mouse".
[OOC] Ingenue: Shh!
[OOC] Spyboy: Stainless Steel….Mouse, reference to Harry Harrison. Niiiice.
[OOC] Abraham: I know.
[OOC] Abraham: Before he got bought out by Disney…
[OOC] Spyboy: He's dead? Damn.
[OOC] Abraham: Yeah.
Kali: "Oh! Also, with Wenser out and about, I've kind of moved into his base in David."
Abraham: "Well, if we see him we'll let him know."
Ingenue isn't saying anything. Well, vocally. "[Harry said this unit should not reveal itself… is that commandment still valid?]"
Kali: "So if you're heading out into the Unknown, do give me a call as you head through, okay?"
[OOC] WC GM: Where is the neutrino comm, and is it on?
Abraham: "Will do, sir."
[OOC] Spyboy: Who was Harry?
[OOC] WC GM: Harry = Hrrin's nickname
[OOC] Ingenue: Hrrin, except that Nue can't pronounce Kilrah.
[OOC] Spyboy: And I left it on earlier, but I probably turned it off when the Admiral came in.
[OOC] Spyboy: Ah.
[OOC] Abraham: I gave it 50-50 odds of it being Hrrin or Dresden.
[OOC] WC GM: Which one, Wenser or Kali? :P
[OOC] Spyboy: Harry.
[OOC] WC GM: I meant, which Admiral?
[OOC] WC GM: Anyway, going to respond to Ingenue or Kali?
[OOC] Abraham: Well it just make sense to turn off any T4 device when Dresden comes in.
[OOC] Ingenue: …good point.
[OOC] Ingenue: ………keep that damn hexing wizard away from me!
[OOC] Abraham: In none of the books I've read has Dresden ever hexed a dam or a horse's mother.
[OOC] WC GM: Alternately, if we're trailing off, I can logend and the response about Ingenue can be the start of next session.
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: I'm willing to keep going.
[OOC] Spyboy: Once again, no vote.
[OOC] Abraham: I'm thinking we're not likely to get a better log end line than Ingenue doing whatever her revelation is.
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: I'd respond to keep it going but I had to do my taunt-leave.
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: 'Cause Kali's tons of funs to make fun of.
[OOC] Abraham: And she hits like a girl.
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: Well, so does Zinda.
[OOC] Abraham: No, she hits like a Zinda.
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: Zinda doesn't 'hit'. *click*
[OOC] Ingenue: <Torchy>: "Good Zinda! Now, burn something of Abraham's!"
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: "Yes Torchy! I'll start with the Roland!"
Spyboy: "[Your call, Ingenue. Advantages and disadvantages both ways.]"
Ingenue: "[Admiral would be unlikely to reveal pertinent data if she knows a LAGOS based AI is present. This unit is not required to obey the Admiral's directives?]"
[OOC] Zinda Tegram: I'm about to dot fudge alertness give me something to keep the game going
Spyboy: "[Indeed.]"
Ingenue: "[Then this unit will remain in observation mode.]"
Spyboy: "It was a gift from the inhabitants of Lagos Prime. Unlike a real Lago would, it doesn't inflict a hit on our environmental capacity, so it didn't displace anyone coming up from the planet."
Kali: "Really? I heard they didn't care about that - they just launched lagos as fast as they could, and *hoped* there'd be room for them at the other end."
Kali: "I once escorted a transport full clear over to Collins."
Kali looks like she is about to crack a joke, then eyes B^4 and lets it die unsaid.
[OOC] Spyboy: Surprisingly good call.
[OOC] WC GM: She is not *quite* the worst diplomat ever, though there's a reason she went for officer training rather than diplomatic corps.
Kali: "So I imagine you'll-"
There is a knock at the door.
Kali sighs. "My aren't you popular. Well, I guess fair is fair." She heads to answer it.
Abraham: "I hope that doesn't mean she's going to stomp on the foot of whoever's at the door and not let them in."
[OOC] WC GM: Is Zinda back yet?
Kali chuckles. "Please. For all his faults, Dakka is not Oldzieyan."
The elder-but-not-looking-it Admiral opens the door, and…
Zinda Tegram: "It's nice to be talked about, isn't it?"
